After working with hundreds of clients, the tell-tale sign of a vision that is aligned with one’s true nature and calling is a feeling of fear-excitement. Not fear, not excitement, but fear-excitement. The level of each, depends on the calling. What does it feel like? Like your highest nature or authentic version of yourself is presently in the room like never before and speaking to you about who you are and what you must do.
Many know elements of their vision, or what they dream of. Some of you may need more clarity in order to know what you are aiming for specifically. A good place to start is answer this question: What is the thing that excites you so much, you think about it all the time? Is it a more successful business with profits that allow you to work less hours? Or to be hired in a role you thrive in and know you are making a difference in others’ lives? On the other hand, you may be crystal clear on your vision but have put off taking action towards your vision, because you think you are too old, too young, don’t know how, are not smart enough, pretty enough or wise enough to pull it off. Well I say you – as well as any of my successful clients are enough to be successful achieving your vision. Clarity helps turn the key to open the door.
If I snapped my fingers and you had everything you want, what would you be doing in 6 months to a year? What does it feel like to be living what you envision in 6 months to a year? (See yourself in that specific role, or multi-million dollar level of success, or major influence or whatever it is.) What would it look like in all areas of your life once you attain it? Finally, how would others be impacted because you are living your vision? Who would be your big supporters in creating this? Write this down or notate on an app of your choosing (I like Evernote).
