What IS imposter syndrome?
Imposter syndrome is a phenomenon in which an individual doubts their accomplishments and has a persistent fear of being exposed as a fraud.
Many who experience imposter syndrome never let themselves imagine the actual achievement of their high-level dreams and goals, until now.
Who it effects?
It can effect anyone, and current statistics show 70% of the population experiences it regardless of their accomplishments, but is especially common among high-achieving women.
Symptoms can include feeling like a fraud, feeling inadequate or undeserving of success, and avoiding challenges or opportunities for fear of failure. It is important to remember that everyone has moments of self-doubt and that imposter syndrome is a widespread experience.
